학원 소개

CATS 컬리지는 1952년 창립이래 60여년 이상의 역사를 지닌 인터내셔널 보딩스쿨 입니다. 캠브리지, 켄터버리, 런던, 캠브리지 총 4곳의 센터를 두고 있으며, 제공하는 코스와 과목이 큰 차이가 없지만 학비, 학교 시설, 도시 분위기가 조금씩 다를 수 있습니다. 캠브리지는 런던에서 기차로 약1시간 거리에 있습니다. 도시인구 중 약70%가 캠브리지 대학교 교직원 혹은 학생들이라고 할 정도로 대학 도시이며, 미국 보스톤, 영국 런던에 이어 인터내셔널 학생들이 공부하기 좋은 도시 1, 2위를 다투는 교육 도시입니다. 2015년 새롭게 오픈한 New 캠퍼스는 캠브리지 도심에서 택시로 약10분 거리에 위치해 있습니다. 캠브리지 시내와 멀지 않으면서도 조용한 주거지역에 위치 해 있습니다. 캠브리지 센터의 가장 큰 특징은 학교시설과 기숙사가 한 건물에 위치한 온캠퍼스 라는 점입니다. 강당 겸 학생식당은 보통 때는 식당으로, 학교 설명회 등이 열리는 강당으로, 쉬는 시간에는 휴식 공간으로, 클럽활동을 하는 공간으로 다양하게 활용 되는 공간입니다. 식사는 부페식으로 기숙사를 사는 학생들은 하루 3끼가 제공 됩니다. 캠브리지 센터는 최신의 시설을 갖추고 있는 만큼 24시간 wi-fi 는 물론, IT를 활용한 다양한 수업이 이뤄집니다. ?CATS 컬리지는 한 반 평균은 10-12명 으로 소수정예입니다. CATS 캠브리지는 기숙사는 온캠퍼스 기숙사와 외부 기숙사 2개가 있습니다. 만18세 이하 학생들은 온캠퍼스-기숙사 (Premier House), 만18세 이상 학생들은 외부 기숙사 (Varsity House), 외부 기숙사 (Varsity House) 는 학교에서 도보 15-20분 거리, 만18세 이상이라도 온캠퍼스-기숙사 (Premier House)가 가능 할 경우 온캠퍼스로 배정 됩니다. CATS캠브리지의 모든 기숙사는 개인화장실이 포함 된 1인실 입니다.

This historic university city boasts magnificent architecture with plenty of parks and unspoilt countryside close by. It is a safe and welcoming city with a large student community representing many nationalities. Music, movies, fashion, food and shopping all cater for student tastes. Cambridge has venues for live bands, comedy, theatre and dance. It also boasts its own samba band and community circus alongside numerous salsa, tango, ballroom and capoeira groups.
