Pre-Top Up Programme (PTU) in Business is the ideal route for students that do not have the grades required for direct entry to the top-up or final year of an undergraduate degree at DMU. The programme is designed to help students to develop skills in English Language and acquire advanced study skills and critical thinking skills to continue with confidence to the top-up or final year of an undergraduate degree at De Montfort University (DMU). The programme is offered as a one term (of 10 weeks) or two term (of 20 weeks) and upon successful completion of the PTUP, students will continue directly to the top-up or final year of selected undergraduate business-related programmes at De Montfort University (DMU). PTUP starts in April (two terms) or June (one term) and upon successful completion, the student can progress directly to an undergraduate degree at DMU in September. The PTU programme offers direct progression to 8 different degrees at DMU.
The International Incorporated Masters degree is specially designed to provide you with extra support for your postgraduate studies. Throughout the first stage of the programme at DMUIC, you will be given additional English language training as well as the key academic skills required to ensure success on your postgraduate degree. You can study the IIM over one or two terms. Students will typically have a strong undergraduate degree or higher diploma. You can choose one from the following routes: • Art and Design • Business • Engineering
