Intensive English Courses You can make rapid progress towards fluency with a course at your level, delivered to your needs. Your progress is monitored from day one and you receive regular feedback throughout your course. You will be impressed at just how quickly your confidence grows as your English language skills improve, immersed in real-life situations and interactions within a wholly English speaking environment. One-to-one home tuition with homestay in your teacher's home is the most effective way to develop language skills in a short period of time. You can choose to have 15, 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week with your own private host teacher (each lesson lasts 60 minutes). In addition, you would normally be given between one and two hours' work to prepare for the next day's lessons. Excursions can also be taken with the teacher where relevant to the course. On the first day, you will be given a level assessment and listening comprehension and your oral fluency will be assessed. The teacher will then design a Personal Study Plan with you to fulfil your objectives by making the most effective use of your lesson time. Out of lessons you will have the opportunity to practise what you have learnt. - Key facts • You progress more when in a relaxed and hospitable atmosphere. • Choose 3, 4, 5 or 6 lessons per day. • Choose your starting dates - every Sunday throughout the year. • If you have a friend or a colleague whose standard of English and needs are similar to your own, two students can share the lessons for a considerably reduced cost. Super Short Intensive English Course This intensive one-to-one course condenses a normal week's course into just 4 days. This can be taken over any four days of the week, including "Le weekend". The English course offered can be for either General or Business English. Complete package of Total Immersion: 20 lessons 1:1, at least 4 hours self study, contact time with Host trainer and family, plus communicative skills preparation work. Also includes full board accommodation. Certificate of course attendance. Excludes options: City Supplement, Prestige Options and arrival transfer if required.

ㆍDay One Arrive at Host Trainer's home mid morning. Have 4 lessons one-to-one English plus self study preparation for following day. Conversation over dinner in the evening.

ㆍDay Two 6 lessons one-to-one in English plus out of lesson interaction and activity plus self study for communicative skills practice.

ㆍDay Three 6 lessons one-to-one plus out of lesson interaction and activity. Home work for next day.

ㆍDay Four 4 lessons one-to-one plus lunch with trainer before departing for home in the afternoon.

English Exam Preparation Courses Choose an Option to your Intensive General English course. Intensive Exam preparation is aimed to help exam students develop their language skills and techniques for specific, internationally recognised examinations. They are ideal for motivated students with clear, achievable objectives. Each course provides a balance of skills work with emphasis on the student's weak areas and the specific requirements of the exam. These exam courses are a straight supplement to the Intensive General English course aimed to help exam students develop their language skills and techniques for specific, internationally recognised examinations. Our network of teachers across the UK bring a mature and experienced approach to the training, complete with comprehensive back up from InTuition Languages. - Course intensity Choose 15, 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week of Exam tuition. The TOEIC is a minimum 2 week course. - Booking an exam InTuition Lanaguages is not an Examination Centre. IELTS exam preparation course InTuition offer an intensive one-to-one English preparation course for the Cambridge IELTS exam. They are either 2 or 4 week courses of 25 lessons of English tuition per week. The exam tests the English language ability in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking of students and provides results in an easy-to-understand band score. As our courses are Total immersion the language learnt in class is consolidated throughout the day. We recommend either a 2-week Fast Track course or a 4-week Masterclass of 25 lessons per week one-to-one as a preparation. The work covered in these intensive courses can be extensive, as much as 5 to 10 weeks in a group class. Moreover we can specialise in your weak areas which may differ from any group class. We can help you prepare mentally and linguistically! We can help you plan your Exam strategy too and have access to all the materials you require. We use the latest materials plus practice papers and approved Specimen Materials. - The timing We can book you into an IELTS centre local to your host tutor for an supplementary fee. The test is available at least once a month in centres across the UK. - Entry requirements IELTS recommend 100 hours of one-to-one per level. You should have an equivalent of the Cambridge First Certificate exam to be able to achieve band 6 in a reasonably short period of time. Band 6 is acceptable for Undergraduate and 6.5 to 7 for Post graduate law and medical schools.

English for Teachers InTuition provide a popular course aimed at State school teachers who need to improve their English for use in their classroom. This one to one English course is ideal for concentrating on what you need to learn, at your speed and at your level. This is an English course aimed at upper intermediate or advanced speakers of English but is not a Teacher Trainer or a techniques based course. It is ideal for teachers of English who need a refresher English course to brush up communication skills, vocabulary and use of English for the classroom. Your course will be with an experienced English language teacher who will use a wide range of authentic materials to extend your range of idioms, expressions and language skills. You can work on your pronunciation and discuss topical issues with your host teacher and their family. The 'English for Teachers' course is extremely flexible and is tailored to meet your individual requirements. You choose the dates you want to come, how long you would like to stay, the intensity of lessons per week - 15, 20, 25 or 30. You can even make a preference for location. Usually, the formal tuition takes place in the mornings, leaving the afternoons and evenings free for activities, visits and excursions with the teacher or private study.

Group Introductory English Courses Many students coming for a long term course would like to start by having some one-to-one tuition. We can now organise a course where a student comes to InTuition Languages for a 1 or 2 week intensive prior to attending a Group course at a language school. Furthermore if it is an International House school we can arrange the whole booking procedure for you, arranging confirmation and offering you only one invoice to pay. - Key facts • You build up your confidence prior to commencing their group classes • You familiarise yourself with the local culture and become more relaxed • You make a good family tie/base in the UK for the duration of your stay • You get your language up to speed so that when you join your class you speak with confidence • You maximise your time at the language school • What is more we can give the language school or Test so the school knows the level in advance - How it works Send InTuition your booking for your Home tuition course and the school group class.
