TEFL
The Trinity College Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) is one of the most widely recognised and highly regarded initial TESOL qualifications and is accepted by the British Council and also by schools and employers worldwide. The English Language Unit at Keele University has been offering a highly successful modular programme leading to the CertTESOL for several years. The course is open both to Keele students and members of the public and aims to provide initial training in TEFL through a balance of practical teaching experience and varied input sessions. Trainees will have the opportunity to work extensively with the large body of overseas students at Keele University. There is also the opportunity to complete elements of the course in Cordoba, Spain.
