ㆍEnd of course certificate Our General English classes start every Monday and we have a range of different levels, from beginner to advanced. About one third of the class time is dedicated to conversation and the rest covers grammar, listening, reading and writing. These are good all-round courses to give a basic knowledge of English or to improve on skills that are already present. There is a course to suit everybody. You can study 15, 20, 25 or 30 lessons per week depending on how intensive you would like your study programme to be. The timetable allows a lot of flexibility and all lessons last 50 minutes.
IELTS Exam Courses The course is essential for students who need to learn English and have an English qualification for their chosen career. For students who wish to improve their English and then go to University the IELTS course is the normal requirement on academic courses. The IELTS course runs for 4 weeks and the Cambridge courses run for 12 weeks.
Academic Year Due to the recent changes in the UK Border Agency rules, all students applying for a Tier 4 Student Visa through the new CAS system should study minimum of 15 lessons per week. Our Lessons are 50 minutes each, meaning course number 9, 10 and 11 are approriate for students wishing to apply for Tier 4 Student Visa. Ideal for students who want to improve their English before applying to a UK college or university or for students who want to spend a year in London. This 52-week academic year course is run on the same cycle as university courses. The classes run for 42 weeks and students will have to take 9 weeks of holiday in the summer from the 12th of July 2010 and 1 week from 25th of December 2010 during Christmas.
