학교 소개
London Study Centre가 런던 1존 지역의 실속형 어학원 Stanton School of English를 인수하면서 2015년부터 LSC와 스탠톤 스쿨이 합쳐진 LSC Stanton 어학원으로 이름을 바꾸고 새롭게 운영하고 있습니다.
학교 특징
LSC Stanton is a combination of two well-established independent English language schools: . London Study Centre: an English language school that was established in 1975 and based in Bayswater in London . Stanton School of English: an English language school that was established in 1973 and based in Bayswater in London Both LSC and Stanton School were independently owned and are not part of language school chains. Both schools have been continuously accredited by the British Council since 1978. In 2015, these schools were merged and the operations were centred in Bayswater. LSC's management team, headed by Margaret McLeod, Principal, took over the managment of the combined business, whilst the Stanton School management team and teachers were retained so as to ensure continued excellent service to LSC Stanton's students and partners.

General English
General English General English courses are for students who wish to improve their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and are an excellent first choice for new students.
ㆍThree hour sessions have a 20 minute break.
ㆍOne hour sessions have no break.
ㆍAverage students per class 16. Maximum class size 20 (mornings), 24 (afternoons)
ㆍNine levels of English
ㆍstudents aged 16 years and older
ㆍoffered all year round at all times of the day. LSC Standard General English: 15 hours per week
ㆍMorning: 9am-12pm
ㆍAfternoon: 12pm-3pm, or 3pm-6pm LSC Premium General English: 20 hours per week
ㆍMorning: Standard 9am-12pm, plus module 12-1pm or 1-2pm; or
ㆍAfternoon: Standard 3pm-6pm, plus module 12-1pm or 1-2pm LSC Gold General English: 25 hours per week
ㆍMorning: Standard 9am-12pm, plus two modules12-2pm; or
ㆍAfternoon: Standard 3pm-6pm, plus two modules 12-2pm LSC Premium nad Gold General English The LSC Premium () and Gold (25 hours per week) General English courses allow you to combine our Standard General English with one or two modules, each of 5 hours per week.

ㆍImprove your career prospects LSC Academic English courses prepare you for internationally recognised English exams which will improve your education and career opportunities. There are three types of exam preparation course:

ㆍCambridge First Certificate (FCE)
ㆍCambridge Advanced (CAE) On each course you will develop your English skills and practise techniques required to take the exam with confidence. LSC is an accredited centre for Cambridge exams, so you can take your exam at LSC!
Executive English
Executive English We have created our own Executive English course for students that are interested in improving their professional English for business-related career. International executives need English as a tool, not as a subject of study. LSC Executive English courses do not just teach business English, they help professionals do business in English. LSC Executive English courses are completely student-focused and focus on skills such as communication skills, meetings, presentations and negotiations and on work-related contexts, such as IT, Marketing, Human Resources and Finance. The course materials we use are relevant to the student or work sector. LSC Executive English courses use interactive techniques, including simulation, case study, problem-solving, coaching and mentoring. We carefully select Executive English teachers so that they have ‘real world’ experience and expertise. This helps them deal with the specific needs of students. When you have completed the course, you will be able to communicate effectively at meetings, and to present your product and company in a comprehensive and professional manner. You will need to be at least Upper Intermediate level, and you will complete a pre-course task so that we know that you will be able to follow the course successfully.

Our school is located on Queensway, a bustling cosmopolitan street, with many bars, restaurants and shops, including the famous Whiteleys shopping centre. Our well-appointed building has 4 floors and 15 air-conditioned classrooms and student lounges with wifi. Our location enjoys fantastic transport connections, the closest Underground stations being Bayswater (2 mins), Queensway (4 mins) and Paddington (10 mins), and we are within walking distance of the well-known Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens / Hyde Park and the world-famous Portobello Road.
