Our experienced and qualified teachers use the latest teaching methods which make learning interesting and ensure that students are speaking English at every opportunity. Use of coursebooks, authentic materials such as newspapers and magazines as well as the internet make learning fun. The school organises weekly excursions to places such as Bath, Oxford, Stonehenge or the beach and nearby national parks as well as evening activities including international food evenings, bowling or trips to the cinema or theatre. Our host families are carefully chosen and visited by the accommodation officer. Living with an English family gives students a fantastic opportunity to practise their English in a real life situation and combined with studying at school makes for quicker progress. There is free internet access in the school with webcams as well as wifi to allow students to keep in touch with family and friends at home, to surf the internet or to study after classes have finished. The school has an extremely strong welfare team who will look after you . no problem is too big or too small. There is a 24 hour emergency telephone number. The school offers courses for people who want English for their job, to study at University in the UK, to pass an exam or simply for personal interest and so whatever your requirement we have a course for you.
