학교 소개
Summer School We have been organising our popular Summer School for over 12 years. Courses run for 2 to 6 weeks in July and August for students aged 7 to 17. They are suitable for students who are preparing for a Preparatory School situation, GCSEs, A levels and the IB Diploma, entering a UK boarding school or are just looking for an interesting and rewarding holiday. We offer more in the summer as students are able to study 15 hours of English a week plus 10 hours of other academic subjects. Our own term-time teachers and pastoral staff work on these courses. There is a wide range of subject options and we aim to meet individual needs. The older students also take a City and Guilds English examination while the younger ones take a Cambridge Young Learners examination at the end of their course which means that they leave with an internationally recognised qualification. Students enjoy a wide range of sports, evening activities and excursions, and there is always something happening to keep the students busy and happy. We use all the excellent facilities at Taunton School including two swimming pools, tennis courts and fitness suite. Taunton School International's Summer School is small and friendly and I enjoy getting to know each student who comes on our courses. We are always there to help students when they need it and to provide a secure and safe environment for them to enjoy their summer experience.

Summer School
>25 hours of tuition a week >Specialist teachers >Maximum 10 students per class >Students are placed in classes according to their age and ability >Levels range from beginners (A1 Common European Framework) to advanced (C1 Common European Framework). >Full academic report and certificate of attendance at the end of the course * English - 15 hours per week: Accurate use of spoken and written English Reading and writing skills Development of vocabulary Listening and pronunciation Confidence building and fluency Academic focus City and Guilds International English Qualification which follows the Common European Framework * Other academic subjects – 10 hours per week: All students study other academic subjects, and have the opportunity to study up to six other subjects during a three week course. Classes may involve class work, project work and visits to local places of interest. The following courses are normally offered, subject to demand: Mathematics British Studies English Literature Science Environmental Science Business Studies Food Technology Art History Geography ICT Contemporary Textiles Current Affairs Drama Languages (French, German & Spanish)
