The English Experience is a British Council-accredited language school that specialises in Study Holiday courses for groups of young learners aged 13 to 18. The school is situated in the centre of the historic English city of Norwich. It is a friendly school with a good reputation and takes great pride in the standards of tuition and the levels of care it provides for its students. It has been offering English language courses to groups of students from all over the world since 1994. Study Holiday courses provide a balanced programme of language study combined with social and cultural activities. They last between one and four weeks and, usually, lessons take place in the mornings and activities in the afternoons. Courses with a standard programme are offered but the school is always happy to create programmes to meet the specific requirements of its clients. The English Experience also offers British Council-accredited English language courses at all levels to adults who wish to study in the evenings. Students can join our General English or Examination Preparation courses at any time of the year. These courses provide a solid foundation for those who need English for examinations, work, university study or life in the UK. Norwich, the home of the English Experience, is a stimulating city for young people. Friendly and vibrant, it is a perfect environment in which to study English and to experience the English way of life. Norwich hosts a popular modern university, enjoys a thriving cultural scene and is considered a safe city to visit as well as being one of the top five shopping destinations in the UK.

General English Courses for Groups
Study Holidays: General English courses (Homestay) for groups include: - Transfers from Stansted or Luton airports* - 15 hours of lessons per week with change of teacher mid-morning - Qualified teachers with maximum class size of 15 students - Afternoon activities (cultural visits and sport); weekly evening disco - One full day and one half day excursion per week - Full board accommodation in carefully selected host families - Welfare Officer available to students weekdays from 08:30 to 17:00 - 24-hour emergency telephone contact - Course report at the end of the course Study Holiday General English courses provide a balanced programme of language study combined with social and cultural activities. They are aimed principally at young learners aged 13 to 18 years and focus on improving English through films, music, topics, project work, street surveys and culture. Topics are selected to cater for the interests, lives and experiences of young learners and lessons provide a flavour of British youth culture. Please see the sample programme for an indication of possible content. The duration of the courses varies between one and four weeks and students stay in carefully selected host families or residential accommodation. If desired, the content of each course can be adjusted to meet the specific requirements of individual groups.
