학원 소개

The Acadia Center for English Immersion은 성인들을 위한 영어집중과정 프로그램을 제공하고 있습니다. Summer mini group 수업은 월요일-금요일까지 17시간 제공되고, Intensive course(Private) 은 20시간이 제공됩니다. 한반에 최대 6명의 학생을 구성되는 소수정예 프로그램으로서 개인지도가 가능합니다. * Classes In both our one-to-one lessons and our mini-group lessons (maximum 4 students with 1 teacher), our experienced, knowledgeable, and supportive teachers guide you in a close observation of English as it is spoken today. Taking daily life and the world around us as our material, we concentrate on the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation skills you need to make your English clearer and more expressive. We pay particular attention to what is most different from your native language and therefore most difficult for you. Answering your questions about English is at the core of every lesson. Total immersion: From morning to night, you are always practicing and improving your English with the guidance of your teachers and homestay hosts, both in class and out of class, at meals and on excursions. * Visa If you are required to have a visa to enter the USA, you should apply for a visitor (B-2) visa, not a student visa. Because we do not grant academic degrees or credit, you do not need (and you will not be able to obtain) a student visa to attend courses at the Acadia Center. * Arrival and departure You should arrive on Sunday and depart on Saturday. Classes are Monday through Friday. * Our location The Acadia Center's programs take place in Thomaston, Maine, USA. The nearest airports are in Rockland (Maine) and Portland (Maine). Rockland is a 10-minute drive from Thomaston, and Portland is a 90-minute drive from Thomaston.
