Approved as a SEVIS school as of February 4, 2008, Access International Business Institute, founded in 1985, is a private language school adjacent to the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. The founder and director is Michael G. Milne, Ph.D., the University of Michigan. Intensive ESL Program (minimum 20 hours/week) Required for full-time students! TOEFL/MELAB Preparation Intensive English program is designed to provide all Access International students with all highest quality classes to improve all skills in English proficiency. Full-time students of Access International must enroll in this program. Each course is of six weeks duration (20 hours per week), four hours of classroom instruction per day, five days per week (M - F). We invite you to enroll in this intensive program for the shortest time possible to improve all English proficiency skills. Full-time tuition of this program is $940.00 US. * All new students must take a placement examination prior to the start of their course. Courses offered are as follows:

ㆍTOEFL®/MELAB® Preparation
ㆍTOEFL®/MELAB® Workshop * The intensive, semi-intensive, and TOEFL/MELAB preparation course programs all follow the same six-week term schedule. Students in all three programs study five days a week during the six-week term (Monday through Friday). Students enrolled in the intensive study program receive twenty classroom hours of instruction per week (4 courses) with the option of taking eight additional weekly hours of TOEFL/MELAB preparation (theory and workshop). Students enrolled in the semi-intensive study program receive 15 or fewer classroom hours of instruction per week (3 or fewer courses) during the same six-week term (also Monday through Friday). Students may also enroll for TOEFL/MELAB preparation only. These students receive eight classroom and workshop hours of instruction per week.
This course is also of six weeks duration (5 to 15 hours per week). Students who wish to enroll in this program should choose a combination of up to three classes. Students must take a placement examination prior to selecting a course. Courses offered are as follows: (choose 1, 2, or 3 classes)
