General English
General English Agape offers twenty-one hours of intensive English (ESL) each week. Our general English courses are scheduled Monday through Thursday. On Friday we offer several three hour electives. Speaking & Listening: This course teaches students how to speak and understand English as it is spoken in North America. Reading & Writing: This course teaches students how to recognize and use language appropriate for standard written English. Grammar & Project-based Learning: This course focuses on grammar in context. Project-based learning is a class in which students put their English skills into practice though projects. Pronunciation & American Idioms: This course is designed to help students speak more natural-sounding English, including proper rhythm, stress, and intonation, and to be able to understand and employ American idioms/slang in appropriate contexts. TOEFL Preparation: Intermediate or advanced students interested in pursuing college/university studies elsewhere in the United States can take advantage of our course designed specifically to prepare you to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). All of the courses at Agape English Language Institute will help you to do better on the TOEFL. However, Agape also offers a TOEFL designed especially to help eligible students prepare for the TOEFL.
주변환경
South Carolina's capital city has achieved a balance between quiet small-town charm and big-city opportunities. Though it is home to 500,000 people, the city retains its well-known "Southern hospitality". Columbia is home to people from over 125 countries, so stores carry products from many foreign lands. The mountains and the beach are each only two hours away. Winters are fairly mild, making Columbia a pleasant place to both live and study.
