Welcome to the English as a Second Language Program at Berkeley City College! Confidence! Community! Opportunity! Students from more than 40 countries attend our classes in order to improve their English language skills and achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. We offer high intermediate and advanced level classes in Grammar, Listening & Speaking, Reading & Writing, and Vocabulary/Idioms. Classes begin three times a year, in June, September, and February.
