The Intensive English Program, on the campus of Boise State University, offers five sessions of English language instruction per year to international students of all proficiency levels, from beginning to advanced. With experienced teachers and small class sizes, our program helps students in transition from an English language program to an academic program at Boise State or other US universities. Whether your goals in English are academic, professional, or personal, the IEP can provide opportunities for your success. • The mission of the Intensive English Program at Boise State University is to provide international students with the opportunity to improve their English language skills for personal, professional and/or academic success. ? Emphasis is placed on rigorous English language skill development, university preparation, and intercultural understanding and communication. ? We provide academic support and orientation for students who wish to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies at Boise State University, enabling students to integrate more successfully into the American campus experience. The Intensive English Program at Boise State University is a full-time, academic program that prepares students for university degree programs, professional careers, and personal enrichment. Intensive English Program students attend classes for 20 hours a week, ?Monday-Friday. Classes are offered in two eight-week sessions during the fall/spring and one eight-week session in the summer.
