Free College Counseling We know that applying to American colleges and universities can be difficult. BIA offers free college counseling to help you through every step of the process. We’ll help you map out your admissions timeline and offer guidance along the way. We can help you choose the right program for you, give you guidance with your essays, help you apply for scholarships, and more! Personalized Study Plans We understand that sometimes you need a little extra support outside of class. Our advisors can help you develop a personalized study plan to achieve your goals. Whether you need additional classes or help creating a self-study plan, we’re here to help you develop the English skills you need! Private Lessons We offer private lessons with our ESL and TOEFL instructors if you want more one-on-one attention outside of the classroom. Our private instruction is competitively priced and can be customized to suit your individual needs.

ESL Program We offer three different full-time options: Premium ESL 24, Premium ESL 28, and Premium ESL 32. These programs are offered to F-1 students, Green Card holders, or non-F1 visa holders eligible for full-time study. Premium ESL 24 Premium ESL 24 is a full-time, general English program that will help sharpen your academic and practical English skills. Take daily lessons in speaking, listening, reading and writing with our experienced instructors. This program will build your confidence and give you the practical skills to live in America and study at the college level. Premium ESL 28 Improve your English faster with Premium ESL 28! This full-time program combines Premium ESL 24 with our innovative Afternoon Electives. Students select one Afternoon Elective course to attend two days per week. Electives are the perfect place to develop your skills through projects and hands-on work. Choose from one of the following: Business English, Oral Communication, or Academic Writing & Note-Taking. Premium ESL 32 Get an immersive English experience with Premium ESL 32, our most intensive option! This full-time program combines Premium ESL 24 lessons with our Afternoon Electives. Students select two Afternoon Elective courses to attend four days per week, the perfect way to apply your skills in practical hands-on projects. Choose from the following options: Business English, Oral Communication, and Academic Writing & Note-Taking.
TOEFL Preparation One of the most popular tests of English proficiency for international student admissions and employers, the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is recognized around the world. We offer one of the best TOEFL test preparation courses in Boston! Our experienced teachers and proven curriculum will help you achieve the score you need. Our full-time Premium TOEFL 32 program is the first step on the pathway to your success! Our full-time Premium TOEFL 32 course is challenging and intensive. Our curriculum offers daily lessons and strategies for the reading, writing, listening, and speaking sections of the test. Additionally, you’ll take regular iBT practice tests and vocabulary quizzes to track and improve your score. We provide a study plan for each of our students with a score tracker to help you meet your personal goals. *Schedule Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 12:36pm *Program Hours -18 hours per week -12 weeks per level, 2 levels offered -432 clock hours total
TEFL/TESOL Certification There is no better time to prepare for a teaching career than now. Having a certificate in TEFL/TESOL gives you an advantage in a competitive global market. Boston International Academy has developed a TEFL/TESOL course that serves all the needs of the developing educator. Practice the latest techniques for teaching language and learn to market yourself as an EFL professional. Interested in teaching English abroad, or in your home country? We offer a rigorous, full-time, 216-hour certification program for TEFL/TESOL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) for international students and non-native speakers. This 12-week program is designed to provide students with the strategies, methodologies, and framework to become competent teachers. *Schedule Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 12:36pm *Program Hours -18 hours per week -12 weeks long -216 clock hours total
