Intensive English Language Center (IELC) California State University, Bakersfield 캠퍼스에 있는 영어 집중 교육 센터(IELC)는 학부 및 대학원생들을 대상으로 미국에서 유학 생활을 성공적으로 이루기 위해 미국 영어를 집중적으로 훈련시키고자 마련된 어학 연수 과정입니다. 이 어학 연수 프로그램은 학점과는 무관하며 독해, 작문, 청취 및 발음 교정이 포함된 회화 과목으로 구성되어 있습니다. 또한 토플 시험 준비반을 비롯하여 문법, 미국 문화, 어휘, 학습 기술 습득 과목도 있습니다. IELC는 직업 또는 개인적인 이유 때문에 영어 실력 향상을 원하는 학생들도 환영합니다. 경영 및 전문가 그룹의 언어 요구 사항와 일정에 맞춘 특별 맞춤식 프로그램도 마련될 수 있습니다. 이 과정은 특히 석유와 농업 분야의 경영 종사자에게 가장 유익합니다. IELC의 교수진은 경험 많은 교사들로서 제2외국어로 영어 교육 특별 훈련을 받은 선생님들입니다. 선생님들 모두 학생들이 필요로 하는 것과 문화적 차이점을 이해하고 지원합니다.

ㆍBe safe within a smaller community And most importantly: Learn to speak American English fluently while having a good time. Then the Intensive English Language Center at CSUB is the place for you! If you are a High School graduate with two years of English language study, then you are eligible to apply for the program. You will be required to take a placement test before beginning your studies at IELC. Results of the test determine your level of knowledge, and will tell us what classes you should be in. New classes start four times a year, with 23 hours of instruction per week. Computer programs are available to develop and reinforce your individual progress in American English.
