ELI's Full-time Day Program The ELI’s full-time day program provides intensive, well-rounded English instruction and practice, whether your language goals are academic or for professional/career development.
ㆍFocus on listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, test-taking strategies, pronunciation, etc.
ㆍTake a placement exam on the first day. This determines the best level for you. During the fall and spring semesters, you have another opportunity to take the exam at the end of the semester.
ㆍClasses meet four days a week.
ㆍFall and spring: With the exception of holidays when the college is closed, students attend class 18 hours a week for approximately 15 weeks.
ㆍSummer ONE and TWO: With the exception of holidays when the college is closed, students attend classes 24 hours a week during the summer sessions.
