El Camino Language Academy (ECLA)는 미국 명문 전문대학 중 하나인 El Camino College 캠퍼스에 자리하고 있습니다. ECLA의 목적은 바로 국제 학생들이 필요한 TOEFL 점수를 받고 미국에서의 수업이 가능한 수준의 영어 실력을 갖추어 El Camino College를 비롯한 미국 내 다른 대학으로 편입할 수 있도록 돕는 것입니다. ECLA 프로그램은 가을, 봄, 여름 학기에 개설되며, 커뮤니티 칼리지 강사들이 지도하는 주당 20시간의 수업으로 이루어져 있습니다. (제공되는 수업: 회화, 읽기, 문법, 쓰기, 미국 문화 및 TOEFL 준비반) 본 프로그램에는 캠퍼스 행사, 점심 파티 및 소풍 등의 다채로운 이벤트도 포함되어 있습니다. 모든 국제 학생들은 프로그램 시작 전, 학습 카운슬러와 면담을 갖게 되며, 한 학기에 적어도 한 번 카운슬러와 상담을 하게 됩니다. El Camino의 뛰어난 카운슬링 전문가들이 학생들의 전공 선택을 돕고, 직업, 편입 기회 및 졸업 이수학점에 관한 친절하고 자세한 상담을 제공합니다.

ESL Course The Language Academy (ECLA) is a premier intensive English program located on the campus of El Camino College (Torrance, California). ECLA's staff and instructors provide quality instruction so that all of our students gain confidence, competence, and a connection to English, adjusting to a new country and being on the campus of a prestigious community college. ECLA students participate in club rush week, they attend university transfer fairs, they go on field trips and they meet with ECC's professional staff of counselors. El Camino counselors help international students plan for their future - for school or for work. Join ECLA and be a part of El Camino's international campus community.

The Language Academy and El Camino College offers complete academic services for all students. There is a full-service bookstore, excellent counseling services, Career Center, state-of-the art Library and a brand new Learning Resource Center (tutoring services on campus are free). All international students have access to Student Health Services, university transfer fairs/ transfer program, job fairs, and campus clubs and organizations. There are several places on campus to enjoy breakfast or lunch and after one year, an international student can join the Honors Society. Also on campus is the South Bay Center for the Arts- world class entertainment right on campus! The ECLA office is here to help make your experience in the United States as pleasant and enriching as possible. We are happy to answer any questions you might have. The amusement parks in Southern California are the best in the world. Disneyland, Universal Studios and Knott’s Berry Farm are all within an hour’s drive. Six Flags Magic Mountain, Wild Animal Park and Sea World are between one and two hours drive. Although it may be hard to believe one place can have it all, Southern California also has the mountain resorts of Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear; with sightseeing plus downhill and cross-country skiing just a few hours away.
