Lado International College는 1977년에 설립되었습니다. 저희 학교는 English to Speakers of Other Languages(ESOL)를 전문화하고 있으며, 학생의 영어 실력을 최상의 수준으로 이끄는데 목적을 두고 있습니다. Lado에서는 학생에게 대학 공부 및 전문적인 직업 준비 교육을 제공합니다. Robert Lado 박사는 말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기로 총 네 가지 교수법을 개발하였으며, 본 교수법은 조직된 강의표를 통해 능률적인 영어 학습의 기회를 제공합니다. 학생들로 하여금 기능적인 영어 회화보다는 훨씬 더 높은 수준의 정확한 영어 회화와 작문 교육을 제공하는 것을 목표로 삼고 있습니다. 영어 집중 프로그램에 등록한 학생들은 1년 안에 대학 수준의 영어 실력에 도달할 수 있으며, 대부분의 학생들은 TOEFL 테스트에서 높은 점수를 획득하고 있습니다. These packages combine full time morning courses with your choice of 1 to 4 additional Premium Workshops per week in the afternoons. TEFL Certificate The LADO TEFL Certificate in Washington, DC is designed as a practical and thorough training course to prepare teachers for the ESOL classroom. TEFL Certificate is a 135-instructional-hour professional teacher training program that provides the necessary skills and experience to teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). The course is internationally recognized, surpassing the most demanding standards for an initial professional certificate program. As a result, LADO TEFL Certificate teachers are in demand by directors and administrators worldwide. Fully accredited by ACCET, the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training, the LADO TEFL Certificate program qualifies for 13.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which is an unbiased indication of the program’s comprehensive and rigorous training. As important as the facts about it are, the LADO TEFL Certificate program is truly distinguished by its outstanding personalized attention and support both during and after the course. More than the means to a professional or personal goal, the LADO TEFL certificate grants a lifetime membership in a dynamic, international community. All LADO TEFL Certificate trainers have advanced degrees and have been recognized and awarded in multiple contexts for their dedication and excellence as teachers of English to speakers of other languages. [Admission Requirements] To be considered for admission to the LADO TEFL Certificate Program, you must provide the following: • A fully completed application • A bachelors degree from an English-speaking university (or its equivalent) Non-native English speakers who have not graduated from an English-speaking university must provide: TOEFL exam scores of at least the following: • Paper-based exam- 620 • iBT (internet-based exam) -105 Writing: 25 out of 30 Reading: 26 out of 30 Listening: 27 out of 30 Speaking: 27 out of 30 • In addition to the above, we may arrange an interview by phone or face-to-face. The DC Center is on Wisconsin Ave., between Calvert Street and W Place, NW. The Nearest Metro stop is the Tenleytown Red Line Station from which you can take any eastbound #30, 32, 34 or 36 Friendship Heights or Tenleytown Metrobus route which stops directly in front of the center. From downtown DC, the nearest metro stop is the Foggy Bottom Blue/Orange Line Station. It's a short walking distance to the westbound #30, 32, 34 or 36 Metrobus stop which you can find on Pennsylvania Ave. in front of the Spanish Embassy.
