학원 소개

Sierra College offers a multi-level program which offers beginning, intermediate and advanced classes to improve speaking, reading, and writing skills in English. Between the ESL coursework and exposure to the English language, international students quickly increase their English skills. Students take placement tests which determine the level and length of ESL study. Enrollment in our ESL program provides a fine opportunity for students to be admitted to Sierra with TOEFL scores of less than 450 (paper) or 133 (CBT) or 45 (iBT).

Our facilities include classrooms equipped with TVs, VCRs and overhead projectors as well as 3 smart classroom with an instructor computer and a projector and internet. We also have two state-of-the-art ESL Computer lab classrooms with nineteen software programs for practicing English language skills. There is Internet access and ESL Internet links with hundreds of Internet activities. Additionally, we are also very proud of the ESL Extensive Reading Collection that has hundreds of books at a range of ability levels. Students can borrow them from the library.

Rocklin is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, approximately twenty minutes from the state capital of Sacramento and 105 miles (169 km) east of San Francisco.
