NICE는 일년 내내 오전, 오후, 저녁에 걸쳐 훌륭한 영어 과정을 제공합니다. 제공되는 프로그램으로는 엄격한 학업 준비 과정을 포함해 의사소통을 위한 영어, 직장생활을 위한 영어, 일상에서 학생들이 노출되는 짧은 일상 회화 등이 있습니다. 이 수업들은 특별한 언어 기술에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 비록 각각의 코스가 저마다 다른 곳에 포커스를 두고 있을지라도 NICE는 실질적인 구어 의사소통 능력을 강조하는 학교로 유명합니다.

New Intensive Courses in English (NICE) 10-week NICE programs (4 sessions each year) Ten-week NICE sessions begin each JANUARY, APRIL, JULY, and OCTOBER. NICE is unique in its strong emphasis on ORAL COMMUNICATION skills needed in a variety of contexts. At NICE, students can focus on curriculum that will help them reach their specific GOALS for learning English as quickly as possible. Upon enrollment, students choose the TRACK that best fits their GOALS for learning English. All three tracks provide INTENSIVE STUDY that prepares students with the LANGUAGE and CULTURAL skills needed for success. Students who continue from term to term are welcome to try a different track for a new experience! TRACKS AND LEVELS NICE offers 5 levels: Basic, High Basic, Intermediate, High Intermediate, and Advanced. Students indicate their 1st and 2nd track choices when they apply. - Track A is offered at High Basic through Advanced levels - Track B is offered at Intermediate through Advanced levels - Track C is offered at Basic through Intermediate levels. Note that students may be given their 2nd or 3rd choice of track depending on their level placement.
Winter and Summer NICE Winter and Summer NICE are 3-week courses designed for individuals with only a short time available for studying English in Hawai‘i. The focus is on ORAL COMMUNICATION and AMERICAN and HAWAIIAN CULTURE. Excursions into the community and interaction with UH students are popular features of these programs! Who should take these courses? Students who are looking for a short English program that gets them speaking English from the first day will enjoy this program! Students from 16 years of age to senior citizens, and those from beginning through advanced English levels will benefit from these programs. School groups are welcome to join, in order to learn with students from other places.
