Language and Culture Center는 Houston에서 남쪽으로 5마일 정도 떨어진 University of Houston 캠퍼스 내에 위치하고 있습니다. 548 에이커의 캠퍼스에는 현대식 강의실과 실습 시설은 물론, 공원, 분수, 플라자, 동상 및 레크레이션 행사장 등 다양한 시설이 갖추어져 있습니다. 진학영어를 위주로 하고 주당 20시간입니다. 한반 최고 인원은 12-15명입니다. Language and Culture Center 학생들은 대학 기숙사에서 체류할 수 있으며, 대학 구내식당의 다양한 식단을 구입할 수 있습니다. 또한 캠퍼스 외부의 아파트에서 체류할 수 있으며, 선택의 폭이 넓습니다.
Language and Culture Center에서 Level 6(최고급 과정)을 이수한 학생이 University of Houston 학부 과정에 입학하고자 하는 경우에는 TOEFL 성적 제출이 면제됩니다.

Intensive English Program [Fall, Spring, Summer Program] This 13 or 14-week academic program provides twenty hours of classroom instruction per week for students who need to significantly improve their English to study in an American college or university, whose professions require a mastery of the English language or who simply desire to improve their English language skills. The program includes instruction in reading, writing, listening, speaking, as well as grammar. Students are placed into levels based on their placement test scores. Each class hour consists of 50 minutes of class and 10 minutes of break time. Classes are held on the campus of the University of Houston, allowing students the opportunity to learn their way around campus and mix with American students at the university. [Summer II Program] For students who are interested in attending the Intensive English Program but are unable to arrive in May due to school or other commitments, the LCC offers a summer program beginning in late June. This program is a seven-week intensive English course with all the components found in the regular Intensive English Program. Students who would benefit by enrolling in Summer II include those who are: • interested in improving their English before enrolling in a college or university in September; • looking for a short-term intensive program to improve their English; • planning to enter the LCC's Intensive English Program in September, but available to begin studying in June. Summer II students may be placed in newly created sections or in existing Summer sections, depending on their placement examination scores and on the spaces available in each section.
