• An academic focus: The AEI IEP prepares you for university study. Great location: Beautiful campus, great parks and outdoor recreation. One hour to the coast and one hour to the mountains. Safe city. Free and easy transportation: Free city bus pass, free airport pick.up, and great walking and bicycle paths! Great recreation: Lots to do in town, plus trips and activities with AEI (e.g. skiing, rafting, shopping), and a lively campus! Housing choices: Choose our homestay program, an apartment, or a dormitory Tutor program: Meet with an American student for help with homework, individual lessons, or just conversation. Professional teachers: All teachers have at least an Master's degree, and many have PhDs. They are experienced teachers who present and publish. Advising support: AEI's counselors help students with academic problems, cultural adjustment, and almost anything else. Conditional admission: If you apply to the University of Oregon, but you don't meet the English (TOEFL) requirement, you can get admitted by finishing our program OR getting the score you need. Great university: AEI students are also UO students, so you can use facilities, join clubs, and be part of the excitement.
