University of Tasmania

Courses are offered at two campuses: Hobart and Launceston in the north of the island. The school is not very large and usually runs 3-4 classes, using the International Centre on campus. Enrolled students can also use on-campus learning and sports facilities, various services, and the university dormitories. Courses include General English courses organized in 5-10 week units, Academic English courses that build the English proficiency and study skills needed to progress to university, TAFE, or high school, and bridge courses for entering the University of Tasmania or postgraduate study. The school is designated as an IELTS test venue in Tasmania, and IELTS preparation programs also start regularly.
