World Cigarette Prices and Smoking Rules?

Hello everyone

AWork Study Abroad here.

In today's post, we'll look at the ranking of cigarette prices around the world

and whether there are countries where smoking is difficult

we'll find out.

Actually, there's a lot of backlash against smoking in Korea too

and we keep hearing news that prices are rising every year

so what's the situation like abroad, I wonder?

In preparation for when you go abroad for language study

finding this out in advance is also important for smokers, right?

So in today's post, for those planning to go on a language study trip,

smokers should pay close attention.

The global database that shows life indicators such as consumer price index, crime statistics, healthcare, and more around the world

Based on NUMBEO's statistics,

let's check out the ranking of cigarette prices (a pack of 20, Marlboro) by country.

As you can see from the table,

the place with the most expensive cigarettes in the world is

1st Australia KRW 34,000

2nd New Zealand KRW 29,000

3rd Ireland KRW 19,000

4th UK KRW 18,000

5th Norway KRW 17,000

6th Canada KRW 15,000

.

.

these are mostly the places we choose as our

language study destinations, ranked at the top.

Smokers should also

keep this in mind before going, it seems.

As for our country, it's ranked right in the middle,

65th Korea KRW 4,500

which is where it falls.

As for countries with low cigarette prices,

these are the countries.

Also, here's something good to know:

in most foreign countries, no-smoking areas and smoking areas

are clearly separated in most cases,

so if you break these rules, you could end up paying a huge fine.

For example, in Canada, smoking is banned in all indoor spaces

and the smoking rate is also around 10%,

which is said to be quite low.

Mainly in countries where cigarettes are expensive,

you can see that regulations are also strict.

As for the US, compared to other English-speaking countries

it's relatively cheap,

keep in mind that you mostly have to refrain from smoking indoors,

so please keep that in mind and enjoy your language study trip :)

In today's post, we looked at the world cigarette price ranking and

things to be mindful of.
