Hello everyone
This is AWork Study Abroad :)

many people’s bucket list items
These days travel is relatively more open
so many people are taking interest in working holiday again
and preparing for it.
We previously explained the concept
of working holiday and the partner countries.

To explain briefly once again
Working holiday is between countries that have signed an agreement,
where young people can stay in the partner country and travel, work, or
study at the same time — it’s a great youth exchange program, one of many.
Living abroad while earning money and sightseeing
gives you a triple benefit, which is why it’s so popular.
Currently, our country has working holiday agreements
with 23 countries, so you can experience the local culture
and life, and also learn a foreign language
< Working Holiday Age Limit? >

But the biggest reason this working holiday
is on so many people’s bucket lists
is precisely because there’s an age limit
Working holiday is generally limited to ages 18 to 30,
and there can be slight differences by country,
so it’s best to check the regulations
of the country you want to go to before you leave.
In Korean age, you can usually apply until just before your 32nd birthday
so please keep that in mind :)
Once you’re past the age you can go on working holiday,
you can no longer apply.
So before your age passes the limit,
it’s best to go as soon as you can.
< Working Holiday Duration by Country >
By country, it’s usually run for 1 year,
but there are slight differences.
Australia allows an extension of up to 3 years,
the UK’s official period is basically 2 years.
New Zealand is generally 1 year,
but a 3-month extension is possible.

The duration is usually similar, but the limits on language study and work periods
may change depending on that country’s regulations, so please check carefully
And for the agricultural sector in Australia, where many Koreans
end up working, if you are employed in Australia’s agriculture sector,
it’s said you can work up to 12 months under one employer.
In today’s post, we talked together about
the age limit and stay duration for working holiday,
everyone’s bucket list item.
The rules are usually similar,
but they say there are differences by country, and the rules could change anytime
so it’s important to check the relevant website
before you leave!
Also, on the AWork Study Abroad website,
we hope to help with your language study life through various content, so please take a look
and if you have any questions, feel free to ask anytime :)
