Canada Fully Lifts Entry Restrictions!

Hello everyone

AWORK Study Abroad is here :)

For those of you preparing for language study or travel,

we'd like to share some great news.

Starting October 1, 2022, the

COVID-19 entry restriction measures for Canada will be completely lifted.

Previously, when entering Canada, you had to submit proof of vaccination,

mandatorily register on ArriveCAN,

and pre- and post-arrival COVID-19 tests were required,

but starting in October, all these measures have been lifted.

From October, there's no need to report any COVID-19 symptoms when entering Canada,

and there is no self-isolation period either.

In addition, for transportation managed by the Canadian federal government,

such as flights or trains, reporting your health status is

no longer required, and mandatory mask-wearing on trains and planes

will also end as of the end of September.

However, since this measure is at the Canadian federal level,

you should still follow any individual public health measures set by each province or territory.

And while you're no longer required to submit your health status on ArriveCAN upon entry,

if you'd like to shorten your entry processing time even a little,

it would be a good idea to update your customs information.

< What do you need to enter Canada? >

- Passport (valid for at least 6 more months)

- Flight ticket to Canada

- Visa approval letter / eTA (tourist visa)

- Local accommodation information in Canada

- Insurance certificate in English

**Please note that COVID-19 related regulations may vary by province,

and can change at any time, so we recommend checking carefully and preparing before departure :)

Please refer to this information as you prepare,

and we hope you have a wonderful trip.
