Entry regulations can change at any time, so please check the latest entry rules from the Philippine Bureau of Immigration.
When Korean nationals wish to enter the Philippines for tourism purposes,
the Philippine government allows a visa-free stay of 30 days.
To enter the Philippines visa-free, please prepare the following.
① Passport
You need a passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining.
If your passport has less than 6 months of validity remaining, you may be denied entry into the Philippines.
- For detailed information on preparing your passport, please contact the 'Embassy of the Philippines in Korea'.
② Flight Ticket
To enter the Philippines visa-free, you need a ticket departing from the Philippines.
Please prepare a round-trip ticket returning to your point of departure within 30 days of your arrival date in the Philippines, or
a ticket to a third country transiting through the Philippines.
- - If you cannot present an outbound ticket, you may be denied boarding and entry into the Philippines.
- - Count the 30 days starting with your arrival date in the Philippines as day 1.
- - If you already hold a visa, such as a retirement visa or working visa, you do not need to prepare a round-trip ticket.
③ eTravel
- Everyone must register for eTravel, regardless of nationality, age, or vaccination status.
You can register starting from 72 hours before your departure time (boarding time).
④ English-Language COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
- If vaccinated in the Philippines: prepare VaxCertPH
- If vaccinated in Korea: please prepare the 'English-language COVID-19 vaccination certificate issued by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA)'.
Using the COOV app is also possible, but some travelers
occasionally find they suddenly cannot use their phone at the airport, so we recommend printing it out and bringing it with you.
- If vaccinated in a country other than the Philippines or Korea: contact the 'Embassy of the Philippines in Korea'
to confirm how to prepare your vaccination certificate.
- The vaccination certificate must be prepared in English.
There is no rule regarding the issue date, but if it was issued a long time ago,
we recommend getting a newly issued one.
- Unvaccinated travelers can still enter the Philippines: even if you have not been vaccinated,
you can enter the Philippines by submitting a negative test certificate.
⑤ Negative Test Certificate
- - If you have received your 2nd dose of vaccine (1 dose for Janssen), you are exempt from submitting a negative test certificate, even without a booster shot
- - If you have not been vaccinated, you must submit a negative test certificate upon entering the Philippines. For the negative test certificate, please prepare an < antigen test result > taken within 24 hours of your departure time
- - It is also possible to take an antigen test after arriving in the Philippines. However, testing after arrival takes considerable time, and if you test positive, you will be subject to facility quarantine, so we recommend getting tested in Korea before you travel.(The time required for testing is hard to predict, as it varies depending on the number of airport users that day.
- - When entering the Philippines, a 'COVID-19 quarantine release confirmation' is not checked. Only vaccination status determines exemption from submitting a negative test certificate.

Please be sure to check!
1. Exemption from Facility Quarantine After Entry
If you have all the documents required to enter the Philippines
and have no COVID-19 symptoms, you do not need to undergo facility quarantine after entry.
