About the School
Living up to its name as the Best Speaking School in Toronto, Royal Canadian Institute of International Studies offers five detailed speaking levels and systematic ESL classes, with students from Korea, Japan, Latin America & Brazil, Turkey, Europe, Taiwan and China studying together. In addition, a variety of linked programs, including IELTS, which is essential for university admission and permanent residency, EAP, a Pathway program linked to colleges and universities, and STAR Accent, an English pronunciation correction program, attract students' interest, and registration often closes before the session begins. The Toronto campus, with about 200 students, supports students in enjoying their life in Toronto while studying through a variety of activities in a family-like, friendly atmosphere. With the help of counselors for each country and teachers in charge who talk with students at their level at any time, RCIIS provides a comfortable and safe learning space for students who are new to Canada.

RCIIS's own level system, different from other schools At a typical ESL school, classes and levels are based on Grammar and run as ESL or Academic classes, and once you reach a certain level you can take special programs such as Speaking, Business and IELTS as electives. At RCIIS, there are five Speaking levels and five Grammar-based ESL levels, plus two PATHs, so students can choose classes that suit their needs. 2. Toronto's only pronunciation correction program RCIIS offers Toronto's only pronunciation correction program, STAR Accent Reduction & Drama. This 8-week complete program, drawn from the materials of American and Canadian actors and announcers, helps students speak with more natural and perfect pronunciation. STAR pronunciation correction, which helps students preparing for high grades in OPIC and TOEIC Speaking, is available only at RCIIS. 3. IELTS score guarantee program The IELTS Guarantee Program is RCIIS's own rigorous management program: if you do not obtain your IELTS score within the registered period, depending on the period you applied for, you can study for up to 2, 3 or 4 more months with our help until you obtain your IELTS score.
