University of Winnipeg

The language center of the University of Winnipeg is located in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, in a hub of shopping and transportation close to the university campus. Language students are issued the same ID card as undergraduate students, so they can easily use facilities such as the library, laboratories, and gymnasium, and they also have the opportunity to take part in a variety of clubs, including sports, music, and yearbook production. The school helps international students find conversation partners, so you can chat comfortably with Canadian students outside the classroom, deepening your understanding of Canada while learning English expressions. The 14-week language course runs 5 days a week, 5 hours a day, and consists of 5 levels from beginner to advanced. In the afternoon after regular classes, you can choose from classes such as Business English, TOEFL, and pronunciation, so students can make up for areas where they are weaker. In addition to the 14-week regular course, a 5-week short-term summer program is also available. Homestay is arranged by the school, while any other accommodation must be found by the student.
