About the School
The American English Institute (AEI) offers an intensive English program. The AEI program is established and operated directly by CSU Fresno and is closely linked with the university's linguistics department. AEI courses are designed for students preparing for admission to American universities, and students can also prepare for the TOEFL exam, which is a requirement for U.S. university admission. The program also helps improve communication skills for everyday life.

Student Services The AEI staff members are aware of the needs of international students and can assist students in many ways. The AEI provides an orientation program to help students adjust to living and studying in the U.S. It also sponsors field trips and social and cultural events. We are proud to introduce Fresno State's official ID card (the Bulldog Card) to our AEI students.
