About the School
Kingsborough English Language Institute (KELI) The Kingsborough English Language Institute (KELI), the English language institute affiliated with Kingsborough Community College of the City University of New York, was established in 1997. It offers a 25-hour-per-week ESL programme, with each session lasting 10 weeks. Students can also study TOEFL preparation and the academic English required for college classes. Counseling and support services for admission to the City University are available, and classes run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enrolled students receive a valid ID card and can use all of the college's facilities, including the swimming pool, gym facilities and library computer labs.
