Since 1990, California English School (CES) at Palomar College has provided high quality English language instruction to international students from over 40 countries. Each year students from all around the world have come to CES to learn to speak, read and write English fluently. Professional instruction provided by Palomar College faculty has made the learning experience enjoyable. In addition to our excellent language program our students are enriched through field trips, role-playing sessions and by the international contacts and friends they make while attending CES. Our students also enjoy most of the benefits and services that are available to students who are enrolled at Palomar College. CES is located in beautiful north San Diego County on the Palomar Community College campus. It is within driving distance of the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Safari Park, Legoland, and various other places of interest. We hope to welcome you in the very near future. CES is ideally situated in beautiful Southern California, allowing CES students to participate in sports, cultural activities and regional field trips. The San Diego region offers access to major professional and collegiate sports events, movie theaters, plays, concerts, and museums. Additionally, students can visit world famous locations such as the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, Sea World, Disneyland, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, the Hearst Castle at San Simeon and Mexico.
